Brand Introduction: TREEANNSEA is a Korean clean beauty brand using wild desert, Arctic, and jungle ingredients focused on gentle, vegan skincare for sensitive skin.
Project Introduction: As a personal project, I created localized messaging for a product detail page visual and a social ad concept for the Arctic Biome Hyaluron Serum from TREEANNSEA. Derived from Arctic glacial water and northern microorganisms, the serum delivers cooling, soothing hydration while improving skin texture.
Product Detail Page Visual
Rather than simply translating the language on the visual:
I localized the Korean messaging for English-speaking audiences, using natural wording and updating copy to focus on market-relevant product benefits and key ingredient highlights.
I translated science-heavy ingredient terminology into easily understandable results, e.g. “low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid” → “deep, fast-absorbing hydration.”
Using data compiled by Trendier AI, my localized copy reflects top-trending skincare themes and preferences among English-speaking audiences, categorizing benefits by ingredient to avoid random, unclear formulation references.
Key updates informed by trends among English-speaking customers:
Incorporated high-ranking keywords present in skincare reviews like glow, fresh, and calming as they relate to the serum.
Included high-ranking skincare review themes like after-feel and benefit, using words like soothing, relief, and hydrating.
Emphasized the “cooling” theme of the serum, using words like Arctic-level and sub-zero that reflect the rising trend of cooling and skin heat relief products—cooling is ranked #4 in the list of top 10 sought-out benefits, a category in step with rising temperatures.
Highlighted the serum’s gel texture—gel is ranked #6 in the list of top 9 rising formula keywords that make consumers want to click, touch, and share.

Social Ad Concept
Drawing on the Arctic Biome Hyaluron Serum’s Arctic-inspired concept and cooling after-feel, I created a social ad inspired by the iPhone Weather app interface. The ad depicts the serum bottle resting on ice beneath a weather display featuring extreme sub-zero temperatures.
The “Feels Like” temperature being the product itself references the serum’s cooling sensation on the skin as well as its Arctic-themed ingredient story.
